Ebro
The Ebro (Spanish and Basque ; , , ) is a river of the north and northeast of the Iberian Peninsula, in Spain. It rises in Cantabria and flows , almost entirely in an east-southeast direction. It flows into the Mediterranean Sea, forming a delta in the Terres de l'Ebre region, in southern Catalonia. In the Iberian peninsula, it ranks second in length after the Tagus and second in discharge volume, and drainage basin, after the Douro. It is the longest river entirely within Spain; the other two mentioned flow into Portugal. La Rioja (Spain)
La Rioja () is an autonomous community and province in Spain, in the north of the Iberian Peninsula. Its capital is Logroño. Other cities and towns in the province include Calahorra, Arnedo, Alfaro, Haro, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, and Nájera. Jalón (river)
The river Jalón () is located in the northeast of Spain, and is one of the principal tributaries of the Ebro. It has a length of and drains a basin of . The flow rate in Calatayud is , but is highly irregular due to the great range of Mediterranean rainfall patterns. The course of the river forms the main communication route between the Castilian Plateau and the Ebro. Until the late twentieth century, roads and railways between Madrid and Zaragoza followed this path. Zadorra
The Zadorra is a river tributary of the Ebro in the Basque Country in the north of the Iberian Peninsula. The river flows primarily across Álava province (flowing briefly through the Treviño enclave at La Puebla de Arganzón) finally reaching the Ebro near Miranda de Ebro in Burgos province, Castille and León. The river's water volume is the largest in Álava, with its basin being the most extensive in the province. Nowadays it provides by means of the Zadorra Reservoir System (comprising reservoirs Uribarri-Ganboa, Urrunaga and Albina) water supply for Vitoria and half of the Basque Autonomous Community. The Basque Country or Basque Autonomous Community (), also officially called Euskadi (), is an Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community in northern Spain. Oca (river)
The Oca river is a short river, about long, in the north of Spain. It is an affluent of the Ebro river that flows through the province of Burgos. It begins in the Sistema Ibérico range and flows north through the municipalities of Rábanos, Villafranca Montes de Oca, Valle de Oca, Alcocero de Mola, Prádanos de Bureba, Briviesca, Vileña, the shire of Bureba and Oña. The Oca River rises in the ''comarca'' of Montes de Oca, near the town of Rábanos. Near its source, the river passes through the narrow, rock-lined gorge of La Hoz. This passage, long and high, was of great strategic value in the 11th century and was defended by the castle of Alba. The Cidacos River is a tributary of the Spanish Ebro River. Its source is Los Campos, in Soria, and it flows for until it reaches the Ebro at Calahorra, La Rioja. It flows through or past various towns like Villar del Río, Yanguas, Enciso, Peroblasco, Arnedillo, Santa Eulalia Somera, and Bajera, Herce, Arnedo, Quel, Autol, and Calahorra.
