Ebolitana Calcio 1925
Associazione Sportiva Calcio Ebolitana 1925 (formerly Società Sportiva Ebolitana 1925) is an Italian association football club located in Eboli, Campania. History The club was founded in 1925, and spent its seasons between Promozione, Eccellenza and Interregionale. He played 12 championships in fifth series, finishing up to seventh (in 1991 and 1999). In 2004 he moved to the forefront as a company run by fans, as they bought the sports title from the town of Eboli and with the help of its fans managed to register to the championship of Eccellenza. The same year he won the championship, getting the Fair Play Award of Eccellenza by the Board and promoted to Serie D. The Return is enshrined in Serie D with a new record: in fact, at the end of the championship, earned 51 points, finishing in 8th place. Eboli
Eboli (Neapolitan language, Ebolitano: ) is a town and ''comune'' of Campania, southern Italy, in the province of Salerno. Eboli, an agricultural centre, is renowned for its olive oil and dairy products, most notably the famous buffalo mozzarella from the area. History Archaeological excavations have shown that the Eboli area has been inhabited since the Copper Age, Copper and Bronze Ages. Also attested (starting from the 5th century BC) was the presence of the so-called Villanovan civilization. Promozione
The Promozione (, "promotion") is the sixth level in the Italian football league system. Each individual league winner within the Promozione level progresses to their closest regional league in the Eccellenza level. Depending on each league's local rules, a number of teams each year are relegated from each league, to the 7th level of Italian football, the Prima Categoria. This level of Italian football is completely amateur and is run on a regional level. The Eccellenza (, "excellence") is the fifth level (since 2014–15) of Italian football. It is a regional league, composed of 28 divisions divided geographically. All 20 regions are represented by at least one division except for Piedmont and Aosta Valley which share 2 divisions. Serie D
The Serie D () is the highest level of semi-professional football in Italy, and the fourth tier of the Italian national league system. It sits beneath the third and lowest fully professional league, Serie C, and feeds in to it through promotion and relegation. Serie C2 was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status. History Before the 1978–79 season, there were only three professional football leagues in Italy, the third being Serie C. The league menaging the C was also organizing the semi-professional Serie D. In 1978, it was decided to split the Serie C into Serie C1 (the third highest league) and Serie C2, moving the remnants of the Serie D to the amatorial sector as Campionato Interregionale. Upon its inception in 1978–79, Serie C2 consisted of four groups of 18 teams, with two promotions and three relegations. Dirceu José Guimarães, known as Dirceu (; 15 June 1952 – 15 September 1995), was a Brazilian footballer who played as an attacking midfielder, notably for Botafogo and the Brazil national team as well as numerous Italian teams in the 1980s–early 1990s. Biography Dirceu was born at Curitiba, in southern Brazil, on 15 June 1952. Club career In his early career, Dirceu played for Coritiba, Botagofo (1971–1975), Fluminense (1975–1977) and Vasco da Gama in his country, before spending one year in Mexico at América. In 1979, he signed for Spanish side Atlético Madrid, where he remained until 1982, playing 84 games and scoring 18 goals.
