Eberlein Drive is an American basketball team that participates in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), an annual winner-take-all single-elimination tournament. The team has participated in the tournament since its 2014 inaugural playing. The roster of Eberlein Drive consists of professional basketball players who compete outside of the National Basketball Association, NBA. The team is named after the street in Fraser, Michigan, that co-general manager Jacob Hirschmann grew up on. The Basketball Tournament
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is an open-invitation, single-elimination tournament, single-elimination tournament played each summer in the United States, with the stakes being a cash prize (the most recent tournament in The Basketball Tournament 2024, 2024 had a $1 million purse going to the winners). The number of teams playing in the tournament has varied since its establishment, but in recent years has settled into a 64-team field. The event was founded in 2014 by real estate developer and TV producer Jonathan Mugar, and as of 2024, the tournament airs in the U.S. on Fox (TV network), Fox and its sister network Fox Sports 1 (FS1). Munster is a suburban town in North Township, Lake County, Indiana, United States. James Taft "Jimmer" Fredette (born February 25, 1989) is an American former professional basketball player who serves as the managing director of the USA Basketball 3x3 Men’s National Team. Fredette was the 2011 National Player of the Year in college basketball, after ranking as the leading scorer in all of NCAA Division I during his senior season for the BYU Cougars. James Michael Ray McAdoo (born January 4, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Shimane Susanoo Magic of the B.League in Japan. Jerome Jerry Randle (born May 21, 1987; ) is an American-Ukrainian former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the California Golden Bears before playing professionally in several European countries. Randle has a Ukrainian passport and represented Ukraine at EuroBasket 2015. The Basketball Tournament 2018 was the fifth edition of The Basketball Tournament, a 5-on-5, single elimination basketball tournament broadcast by the ESPN family of networks. The tournament involved 72 teams; it started on June 29 and continued through August 3, 2018. The winner of the final, Overseas Elite, received a two million dollar prize. Format The tournament started with a field of 72 teams, organized into four regions of 18 teams, all of which were seeded. Donald Wayne Sloan (born January 15, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Texas A&M Aggies. Sloan played parts of five seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Atlanta Hawks, New Orleans Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets.
