Saint Vincent and the Grenadines () is an island country in the Caribbean. It is located in the southeast Windward Islands of the Lesser Antilles, which lie in the West Indies at the southern end of the eastern border of the Caribbean Sea where the latter meets the Atlantic Ocean. Its territory consists of the main island of Saint Vincent and, south of that, two-thirds of the northern part of the Grenadines, a chain of 32 smaller islands. Arnhim Eustace
Arnhim Ulric Eustace (born 5 October 1944) is a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Vincentian retired politician and economics, economist. He served as the List of Prime Ministers of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, third Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and is the former Leader of the Opposition and former president of the New Democratic Party (Saint Vincent), New Democratic Party (NDP) after resigning in 2016. Eustace was a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Electoral district, constituency of East Kingstown in the House of Assembly of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from 1998 until his retirement in 2020. Vincentian General Election, 2015
General elections were held in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on 9 December 2015. The result was a victory for the Unity Labour Party, which retained its one seat majority. However, the NDP has challenged the results in two constituencies, North Windward, and Central Leeward. Electoral system The 15 elected members of the House of Assembly were elected in single-member constituencies using the first-past-the-post system. Campaign A total of 43 candidates contested the elections.
