East Coast FM (formerly known as BLB, Horizon FM, then East Coast Radio) is an Irish local radio station broadcasting from Bray, County Wicklow under a sound broadcasting contract from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland The station operates in County Wicklow and into the adjoining counties of Dublin, Kildare, Carlow and Wexford, broadcasting on the following frequencies: 94.9 FM, 96.2 FM, 99.9 FM, 102.9 FM and 104.4 FM in Arklow. To achieve coverage of all of its franchise area, it requires six transmitters including stations at Bray Head, Wicklow Head, Avoca, Arklow, Baltinglass and a transmitter located at Slieve Thoul in Saggart County Dublin where the Wicklow, Kildare and Dublin borders meet. Wicklow ( ; , meaning 'church of the toothless one'; ) is the county town of County Wicklow in Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It is located on the east of Ireland, south of Dublin. According to the 2022 census of Ireland, 2022 census, it had a population of 12,957 people. The town is to the east of the M11 motorway (Ireland), M11 route between Dublin and Wexford. Adrian Kennedy is an Irish radio News presenter, broadcaster. He is a regular panellist on RTE1's Today Show and freelances on Newstalk, Classic Hits, and East Coast FM. He was host and producer of the late-night radio chat show ''FM104 Phoneshow,'' alongside co-host Jeremy Dixon, from 1997 to 2013. When he left the programme, it was the highest-rated nighttime radio show in Ireland. In August 2013, Kennedy and his co-host and producer Jeremy Dixon resigned from FM104 to take up a job offer with the rival station, Dublin's 98FM, 98FM. Jennifer D'Arcy (née Kelly; born 6 May 1972) is an Irish people, Irish radio personality who came to prominence during the 2000s as Ray D'Arcy's producer on his The Ray D'Arcy Show, self-titled radio show on Today FM. Nikki Hayes (born Eimear O' Keeffe on 7 May 1979) is a DJ who currently works for East Coast FM. The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) is a national performance rights organisation based in Ireland. It administers the performing right in copyright music on behalf of its members (who are Irish songwriters, composers and music publishers) and on behalf of the songwriters, composers and music publishers of the international overseas societies that are affiliated to it.
