East African Geographical Review
The ''African Geographical Review'' is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal published by Taylor & Francis on behalf of the American Association of Geographers' Africa Specialty Group. The journal was originally established in 1963 at Makerere University (Uganda) as the ''East African Geographical Review''. Due to political turmoil in Uganda Uganda, officially the Republic of Uganda, is a landlocked country in East Africa. It is bordered to the east by Kenya, to the north by South Sudan, to the west by the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to the south-west by Rwanda, and to the ..., the journal had to suspend publication for a number of years. Geography (from Ancient Greek ; combining 'Earth' and 'write', literally 'Earth writing') is the study of the lands, features, inhabitants, and phenomena of Earth. Makerere University
