Earthquakes Stadium
PayPal Park (formerly Earthquakes Stadium and Avaya Stadium) is a soccer-specific stadium in San Jose, California. It is the home stadium of the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer (MLS) and Bay FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). The stadium is located on the Airport West site next to San Jose International Airport. PayPal Park officially opened on February 27, 2015, and has a capacity of approximately 18,000, the smallest seating capacity in the entire MLS. The stadium features a canopy roof and some of the steepest-raked seating in Major League Soccer to provide a better view. Additionally, the area behind the northeast goal houses the largest outdoor bar in North America, a fan zone and a double-sided video scoreboard. The suites and club seats are located at field level. Edenvale is a neighborhood of San Jose, California, in South San Jose. History Edenvale was once a town, named with reference to the Garden of Eden, because of the beauty and fertility of the place. One of the oldest buildings in the area is Hayes Mansion. The Union Pacific Railroad and historic Monterey Road runs through the area, which is also known as El Camino Real. Lewis Wolff
Lewis N. Wolff (born December 13, 1935) is an American real estate developer. Wolff had been co-chairman of the Board of Sunstone Investors, Inc. from October 2004 to April 2014. Wolff owned sports franchises. He was most well known for his ownership of the Oakland Athletics and as the co-owner of the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer. However, in November 2016, Wolff sold his share in the Oakland Athletics to John J. Fisher, and currently serves as the team's Chairman Emeritus.
