Rodney Eade
Rodney Eade (born 4 April 1958) is a former Australian rules footballer and coach in the Australian Football League. He is a former coach of the Sydney Swans, the Western Bulldogs and the Gold Coast Football Club. He has, to date, coached 377 games of AFL football, placing him first on the all-time AFL/VFL list of most games coached without a premiership. Playing career Hawthorn Recruited from Glenorchy, while still a schoolboy, young Rodney Eade made his VFL debut for the Hawthorn Football Club as an 18-year-old. Playing with a lot of dash and blistering speed, Eade capped off his debut season by playing in the 1976 premiership team. He went on to play in the Hawks‘ 1978, 1983, and 1986 premierships sides. Early life and education Kenneth Eade attended the Honors Program at El Camino Real High School, and attended classes at Los Angeles Pierce College at the age of 15. He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a B.A. in Liberal Studies in 1977, and received a J.D. Degree from Southwestern Law School in 1980. James V. Eade (born March 23, 1957) is an American chess master, chess administrator, chess tournament organizer, and chess book publisher. He holds the title of FIDE Master. He is best known for the books ''Chess for Dummies'' (1996) and ''The Chess Player's Bible'' (2004), both of which have been through multiple editions and been translated into seven languages. He became involved in organizing chess tournaments in the 1990s. Born in Leytonstone, Eade became a subeditor on the '' Daily Chronicle'' at the age of fourteen, then worked on '' Lloyd's Weekly Newspaper'' and the '' Daily Herald''. From 1922, he wrote for the ''Daily Mirror'', but also worked on the '' Sunday Pictorial'' and ''The Observer''.
