EZ Rock
EZ Rock was a brand of adult contemporary radio stations heard primarily in Canada. The branding was originally created by Telemedia in the mid-1990s for its AC stations, and based on the call sign of its former Toronto flagship CJEZ-FM (now adult hits-formatted CHBM-FM). Via acquisitions, control of the "EZ Rock" brand passed from Telemedia to Astral Media and later Bell Media. By 2021, as the majority of its owned-and-operated stations had been shifted to one of Bell Media's other standardized station formats, such as Pure Country, Move Radio ( AC, which replaced Ontario's final "EZ Rock" station CHRE-FM in St. Catharines, and Kelowna's CILK-FM), or Virgin Radio ( CHR/Top 40), the only remaining "EZ Rock" stations were in British Columbia. Move Radio
Move Radio is a brand of adult contemporary radio stations heard across Canada. The network was launched on December 27, 2020, by Bell Media. The launch of the network involved a re-branding of eleven radio stations across Canada, five in Ontario, four in British Columbia, one in Nova Scotia and one in New Brunswick. The network currently broadcasts on four stations nationwide. The launch of this network also involved the flipping of CJMG-FM's contemporary hit radio, Top 40/CHR format to adult contemporary, AC, as well as the contemporary hit radio, CHR format of CIBX-FM to hot AC. All stations adopted the slogan ''Today's Best Variety'', which is similar to other stations that use AC and hot AC formats, and have since then dropped their former brandings, including two stations with the "EZ Rock" brand. ''On Air with Ryan Seacrest'' is a weekday radio syndication, syndicated radio program hosted by Ryan Seacrest. It was launched in 2004 as a drive time show at the same time on Los Angeles contemporary hit radio, Top 40 station 102.7 KIIS-FM as the television show with On Air with Ryan Seacrest (TV series), the same name, although Seacrest had hosted a similar show in afternoon drive time on sister station Star 98.7 KYSR from 1995 until 2003. The TV series ran for several months in 2004, but nationwide syndication of the radio program did not start until 2008. While Seacrest hosted his Los Angeles show in the morning, the syndicated show's network affiliate, affiliates aired it in middays or afternoons. John Frank Tesh Jr. (born July 9, 1952) is an American musician and radio and television presenter. He wrote the '' NBA on NBC'' basketball theme " Roundball Rock", and hosts the ''Intelligence for Your Life'' radio show. KISS-FM is the brand name of a Top 40 music format heard on FM radio stations in many cities in the United States and overseas. iHeartMedia claims ownership of the KISS-FM brand in the United States and operates most KISS-FM formatted stations there, though not KISS-FM in San Antonio, Texas, or KISS-FM America on TuneIn. Origin and history In the late 1970s, many US radio stations began calling themselves "Kiss".
