ES Goulettoise
The Étoile Sportive Goulettoise (), commonly known as ES Goulettoise (ESG), is a Tunisian professional basketball club founded in 1968 following the merger between the Club Sportif Goulettois (CSG) and the Club Olympique du Kram (COK). Benefiting from the grassroots work of the Club Sportif Goulettois, it quickly established itself among the major clubs in the national division. However, the 2000s saw its fall and its takeover by the Étoile Sportive Goulettoise (ESG). The Étoile Olympique La Goulette Kram no longer has a basketball section. History The city of La Goulette was one of the first in Tunisia to adopt basketball. Its team, called Goulette Sports, was one of the first three associations of the discipline, created in 1934, along with the Alliance sportive and the Vaillante d'Hammam Lif. The Championnat Pro A, is the highest tier professional basketball league in Tunisia, established in 1956. As the 2024–25 season, the league features 10 teams. The league is organised by the Tunisia Basketball Federation (FTBB). ES Radès is the record holder for most titles, with a total of thirteen. The current champion is Club Africain, who won the title in the 2024–25 season. The champions of each season qualify directly for the regular season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL), the premier continental competition of Africa. Format Each league season of the Pro A usually starts in the end of September or beginning of October, and has the following format: # Preliminary round: all teams play each other home and away. La Goulette
La Goulette (, ), in Arabic Halq al-Wadi ( '), is a municipality and the port of Tunis, Tunisia. La Goulette is located at around on a sandbar between Lake of Tunis, Lake Tūnis and the Gulf of Tunis. The port, located 12km east of Tunis, is the point of convergence of Tunisia's major road and rail networks. Tunisian Basketball Federation Cup
The Tunisian Basketball Federation Cup or FTBB Cup, is an annual basketball cup in Tunisian men's basketball. The tournament is organised by the Tunisia Basketball Federation (FTBB) It is contested by the teams that did not qualify for the play-off phase of the Championnat National A. Since 2018, the games are played during the FIBA national teams qualifiers which means most games are contested without team's internationals. The current champion is JS Kairouan, who won the title in the 2025.
