EMG, Inc. is the current legal name of an American company based in Santa Rosa, California that manufactures guitar pickups and EQ accessories. Among guitar and bass accessories, the company sells active humbucker pickups, such as the EMG 81, the EMG 85, the EMG 60, and the EMG 89. They also produce passive pickups such as the EMG-HZ series, which include SRO-OC1's and SC Sets. There is also a series geared towards a more traditional and passive sound known as the X series. Death Angel is an American thrash metal band from Daly City, California, initially active from 1982 to 1991 and again since 2001. They have released nine studio albums, two demo tapes, one box set and three live albums. Musikmesse Frankfurt was an international trade show and music festival for the music products industry that took place annually in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from 1980 until 2019. At its peak, the fair was one of the largest international trade shows, with over 1,800 attendees from all around the world. History The fair was first introduced in 1980. It is generally held in the first quarter of the year for four days. The first two days are reserved for the business audience, while the last two days are accessible for everyone. In 2013, the fair was held from 10 to 13 April, with 68,587 visitors and 1,512 exhibitors from 51 countries in attendance. Steinberger is a series of distinctive electric guitars and bass guitars, designed and originally manufactured by Ned Steinberger. Humbucking
Mains hum, electric hum, cycle hum, or power line hum is a sound associated with alternating current which is twice the frequency of the mains electricity. The fundamental frequency of this sound is usually double that of the local power-line frequency: that is to say, 100Hz in areas with 50Hz power, and 120Hz in areas with 60Hz power. The sound often has heavy harmonic content above 50/60Hz. Kyle Sokol (born October 31, 1974) is an American bassist and skateboarder. He is currently with Nasty Savage, Astronomica, Nocturnus A.D., and Apeiron Bound. Vince Gill
Vincent Grant Gill (born April 12, 1957) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He played in a number of local bluegrass music, bluegrass bands in the 1970s, and from 1978 to 1982, he achieved his first mainstream attention after taking over as lead singer of the soft rock band Pure Prairie League. Gill sang lead on their hit single "Let Me Love You Tonight" in addition to writing several of their songs.
