E.L.A. (album)
Kimmo Ilpo Juhani Laiho (born 1981), better known by his stage name Elastinen (''elastic'' in Finnish), is a Finnish rapper and also one of the founders and CEO of independent Finnish rap label Rähinä Records. Together with his colleague Iso H (Big H), he founded the Finnish rap duo Fintelligens. He has released five solo albums. Biography Beginnings Born and raised in Helsinki, Elastinen began taking guitar lessons when he was seven years old. At the age of 11 he started dancing and has been a member of famous break-dance groups as IMC and Savage Feet. Inspired by a hiphop-cassette, given by his elder-brother, "Ela" wrote his first rap-lyrics when he was 15 years old, after being inspired by a hip hop cassette given to him by his older brother. Uniikki
Dan Ahti Tolppanen (born 11 June 1981) is a Finnish singer, rapper and record producer, better known by his stage name Uniikki (meaning unique). He is the co-founder in of Rähinä Records (founded in 1998) with Elastinen, Iso H, Andu and Tasis. Uniikki was born to a Jewish mother and Finnish father. Samuli Casimir Edelmann (born 21 July 1968) is a Finnish actor and singer. Family and career Edelmann was born in Pori, Finland, the son of actress Marja-Leena Kouki and composer Toni Edelmann. Vesa-Matti "Vesku" Loiri (4 January 1945 – 10 August 2022) was a Finnish actor, musician and comedian, best known for his role as Uuno Turhapuro, whom he portrayed in a total of 20 movies between the years 1973 and 2004. is the Finnish version of '' The Best Singers'' series broadcast on Finnish Nelonen commercial television channel fashioned on the successful Dutch series ''De beste zangers van Nederland''. Each day, one artist would be chosen, and the remaining artists would perform covers of their songs and would be assessed by the original artist. The last day would be dedicated to duets of the most popular performances. The title of the Finnish series is inspired by the 1973 song ''Vain elämää'' ("It's only life") by Irwin Goodman. Jere Mikael Pöyhönen (; born 21 October 1993), known professionally as Käärijä (), is a Finnish rapper, singer and songwriter. He represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song " Cha Cha Cha", placing second with 526 points and finishing first in the public vote with 376. Bess (singer)
Bess Essi Miia Marianna Launimo (born 1993), known professionally as BESS (stylized in all caps), is a Finnish singer. She combines pop, electro and house in her music. Bess makes music together with her producer Nopsajalka. Bess has a double degree in hairdressing and has also studied as a professional musician at the Pop & Jazz Conservatory in Oulunkylä, Helsinki. Jenni Mari Vartiainen (born 20 March 1983) is a Finnish pop singer. Before her professional musical endeavours, she was a figure skating, figure skater in her teenage years and attended the Kuopio Senior High of Music and Dance. Sami Henrik Hedberg (born 13 March 1981 in Helsinki) is a Finnish stand up comedian and actor. Hedberg became famous after winning the ''Get up, stand up'' competition on Sub TV in 2005. Johanna Kurkela (born 25 April 1985) is a Finnish singer. Her first published work was a duet ''Tahdon tanssia kanssasi'' with Tomi Metsäketo in 2004.
