Dániel Zsóri
Dániel Zsóri (born 14 October 2000) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga I club UTA Arad. Born in Romania, he has represented Hungary at youth level. Early life Zsóri was born in Oradea, Romania on 14 October 2000. He grew up in Satu Nou, Mișca Commune in Arad County. When he was 10 years old, he moved to Békéscsaba to play in the Békéscsaba 1912 Előre youth academy. Zsóri holds dual Romanian and Hungarian citizenship. He has stated that he would prefer to play for the Hungary national team over the Romania national team if given the option. Club career Debrecen Debrecen signed Zsóri in September 2017. He was promoted into their senior squad in 2018–19 by manager András Herczeg, who selected him for his senior bow in the Magyar Kupa against Teskánd on 31 October 2018. The NB II, currently known as the Merkantil Bank Liga for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of Hungarian football. At the end of the 2004–05 season, the tournament format was changed from one division of 14 teams to two divisions: ''Keleti'' (Eastern) and ''Nyugati'' (Western), each with 16 teams, though now it's just one league table with 16 teams as of the 2024–25 season. The FIFA Puskás Award is an award established on 20 October 2009 by the ''Fédération Internationale de Football Association'' (FIFA), at the behest of then-president Sepp Blatter, to be awarded to the player judged to have scored the most aesthetically significant, or "most beautiful", goal of the calendar year. Nagyerdei Stadion is an all-seater asymmetric football stadium in Debrecen, Hungary and home to Debreceni Vasutas Sport Club (the seats behind the goals are 'Vario' or 'Rail' seats to facilitate safe standing at domestic matches). The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, ), also known as NB I or Fizz Liga after its title sponsor, OTP Bank's webshop subsidiary, is a professional association football league in Hungary and the highest level of the Hungarian football league system. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. The Hungarian Cup (, ), officially known as MOL Magyar Kupa for sponsorship reasons, is the Hungarian cup competition for football clubs. It was started by the Hungarian Football Association'','' in 1909, eight years after the commencement of the Hungarian League. András Herczeg
András Herczeg (born 11 July 1956) is a Hungarian football manager and former player, who is the manager of Debreceni VSC. He worked as the manager of the Debreceni VSC between 2007 and 2010. He led his team to the group stages of the Champions League 2009–10 season and to the group stages of the 2010–11 Europa League season.
