Dynapac is a Swedish multinational engineering company located in Karlskrona. The company was founded in 1934 and today has subsidiaries in seven countries. Dynapac produces pavers, mobile feeders, rollers and planers. Since October 2017 it is part of the French Fayat Group. History It was founded in 1934 as AB Vibro-Betong in Stockholm. In 1936 the vibratory compactor was developed by a mechanical engineer Hilding Svenson. In 1940 the company name changed to AB Vibro-Verken. In 1947 it launched the first vibratory plate compactor, which weighed 1.5 tonnes, being nicknamed ''the frog''. It opened its research laboratory in 1948 and manufactured the first vibratory road roller in 1953. The site in Karlskrona opened in 1960, which made heavy rollers and had the company's technical centre. The CA 25 road roller introduced in 1970 became the world's leading compaction roller. Hoeselt (; li, Hoeiselt) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. On January 1, 2018, Hoeselt had a total population of 9,685. The total area is 30.02 km2 which gives a population density of 323 inhabitants per km2. A paver (road paver finisher, asphalt finisher, road paving machine) is a piece of construction equipment used to lay asphalt concrete or Portland cement concrete on roads, bridges, parking lots and other such places. It lays the material flat and provides minor compaction. This is typically followed by final compaction by a road roller. History The asphalt paver was developed by the Charles Burris Co., that originally manufactured material handling systems. In 1929 the Chicago Testing Laboratory approached them to use their material loaders to construct asphalt roads. This did not result in a partnership but Barber Greene did develop a machine based on the concrete pavers of the day that mixed and placed the concrete in a single process.
