Cebu Football Club (also known as Dynamic Herb Cebu Football Club or DH Cebu for sponsorship reasons) is a Philippines professional football club based in Cebu City, Cebu. The club currently plays in the Philippines Football League, the top-flight league of football in the Philippines. The club was founded in 2021. Affiliated with Cebu Football Association, Cebu is the third professional club to represent its region, after Cebu Queen City United which competed in UFL Division 2, and Global Cebu which competed in the Philippines Football League. History The club is owned by ''Dynamic Herb Sports Incorporated'', under the management of Ugur Tasci, a Turkish businessman who first arrived in the Philippines in 1994, together with his brother, Cem Tasci who developed Leylam Football Club that brought honors to Cebu in football tournaments, locally and abroad. Dynamic Herb Sports Complex
Dynamic Herb–Borromeo Sports Complex, simply known as Dynamic Herb Sports Complex, is a multi-purpose stadium best known for hosting association football, football matches. Located in Talisay, Cebu, the stadium is home to Cebu F.C., Dynamic Herb Cebu, a club playing in the Philippines Football League. History Cebu is considered as one of the sport's hotbeds in the Philippines. The province, however, lacks top-quality sports facilities. The most prominent facilities are Cebu City Sports Center and Cebu Coliseum, both of which are either lacking in adequate facilities or are aging. The grounds and gymnasiums of colleges and universities within Metro Cebu have also been used as sports facilities. Construction of the first phase of the complex began in October 2017, which focused on laying the astroturf for the football pitch and outdoor facilities. The 2022–23 Philippines Football League was the fifth season of Philippines Football League (PFL), the professional football league of the Philippines. This is the second season of the PFL under the sponsorship of Qatar Airways. The season began on August 7, 2022, and concluded on June 11, 2023, marking the first time during the Philippines Football League era that a season takes place in an inter-year format. The 2022 Copa Paulino Alcantara was the fourth edition of the Copa Paulino Alcantara, the domestic football cup competition of the Philippines. The 2022 edition marked the first time since the 2019 Copa Paulino Alcantara that matches are not held in a "bubble format", and also the first season in more than two years that allowed spectators to watch the matches, all of which are held at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
