''Dwaar'' (''The Voyage out'') is a 2013 Indian Cinema of Assam, Assamese drama film directed by Bidyut Chakravarty, with his own screenplay, and produced by Sanjive Narain and Bidyut Chakravarty himself. It was adapted from the Assamese language, Assamese short story ''Bahiroloi Jowa Baat'' by Apurba Sarma. ''Dwaar'' stars Kapil Bora, Zerifa Wahid and Mahika Sharma in the lead roles. The literal translation of the title means Door. The film won the Best Director, Best Music and Best Audiography award in the Assam State Film Awards for the period 2010–2012. Plot The story is set against the backdrop of the Assam agitation and its aftermath. Prag Cine Awards 2013
The Prag Cine Awards 2013 ceremony, presented by the Prag Network, honored the actors, technical achievements, and films Central Board of Film Certification, censored in 2012 from Assam and took place on 14 April 2013, at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital, GMCH Auditorium in Guwahati, India. Kapil Bora
Kopil Bora (born 30 March 1977) is an Assamese actor, anchor, and All India Radio voice artist. He debuted in Bidyut Chakravarty's 2002 Assamese film ''Gun Gun Gane Gane'' and is known for his performance in ''Mon'' (2002), ''Ahir Bhairav'' (2008), ''Jetuka Pator Dore'' (2011), and '' Dwaar'' (2013). Filmfare Awards East
Filmfare Awards East were the annual awards segment of the annual Filmfare Awards, presented by The Times Group to honour the artistic and cinematic excellence in Bengali, Assamese and Odia. The first installment of the awards were held for Bengali, Assamese and Odia films in a ceremony on 29 March 2014. The award was discontinued in 2015 and 2016 due to the unequal representation and award distribution among the three film industries. The ceremony was re-started from 2017 but awards were given only to the Bengali films. 2021 onwards, it was rebranded as the Filmfare Awards Bangla and awards are being presented only to the Bengali film industry. Nipon Goswami
Nipon Goswami (3 September 1942 – 27 October 2022) was an Indian actor and theatre artist associated with Assamese-language films. He was one of the veteran actors of Assamese Film Industry. He started his acting career as a stage actor and later established himself as a film actor. His most notable for his work in the 1969 film '' Dr. Bezbarua'' as well as '' Piyoli Phukan'', '' Tumi Aahibaane'' and '' Aparoopa''. Personal life Goswami was born on 3 September 1942 at Kolibari in Tezpur, Assam. His father Chandradhar Goswami was an actor and his mother Nirupama Goswami was a singer. He did his primary schooling at Kolibari LP School. After that, he moved to Tezpur Govt. HS School. He died after suffering from heart-related ailments on 27 October 2022, at the age of 80.
