History In 1993 Dusit Thani College was established as 'The Dusit Thani Hotel School', an addition to the Dusit Thani Group, which owns and operates hotels and resorts. Chiang Rai (, ; , ) is the northernmost major city in Thailand, with a population of about 200,000 people. It is located in Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province.
