Duronto TV
Duronto TV (; ) is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable children's television channel, and the first of its kind in the country. It was initially licensed in 2013 as "Renaissance TV", but was later renamed to its current name. The channel began test broadcasts on 5 October 2017, and later commenced official broadcasts ten days later on 15 October 2017. Duronto TV is the first Bengali-language children's television channel. The director of the channel is Abhijit Chowdhury, along with Quazi Shahidul Islam being the head of broadcast operations and engineering, Minhaz Uddin being the head of sales and marketing, and Sunjida Siddique Sumona being the head of programme. It is owned by Barind Media Limited, a subsidiary of Renaissance Group. Duronto TV's programming consists of live action, usually local, and animated shows, usually foreign. 1080i
In high-definition television (HDTV) and video display technology, 1080i is a video display format with 1080 lines of vertical resolution and Interlaced video, interlaced scanning method. This format was once a standard in HDTV. It was particularly used for broadcast television because it can deliver high-resolution images without needing excessive bandwidth. This format is used in the SMPTE 292M standard. Definition The number "1080" in 1080i refers to the number of horizontal lines that make up the vertical resolution of the display. Each of these lines contributes to the overall detail and clarity of the image. The letter "i" stands for Interlaced video, interlaced. ''Bob the Builder'' is a British animated children's television series created by Keith Chapman for HIT Entertainment which ran from to in the United Kingdom through the CBBC strand and later CBeebies. The series centres on the adventures and escapades of a general contractor named Bob who owns a team of anthropomorphised construction vehicles that go about their day helping out with construction work in several towns. The show used stop-motion animation for most of the series as well as ''Project: Build It'', provided by Hot Animation in Manchester. The series changed to CGI animation in 2010 for its final two seasons; titled ''Ready, Steady, Build!'', of which SD Entertainment completed animation production. ''Pororo the Little Penguin'' () is a South Korean 3D computer animated television series. The series premiered on EBS 1 in South Korea in 2003. The series has 8 seasons and ended in February 16th 2021. The series revolves around the adventures of a little penguin named Pororo, and his friends who live in the snowy village of Porong Porong Forest, who often encounter challenges and learn practical and moral lessons in each episode. Animesh Aich (born 8 February ) is a Bangladeshi filmmaker, director, actor and writer. He is a recipient of one Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Art Direction for his work in the war film ''Guerrilla'' (2011), and has also won a record four Meril Prothom Alo Awards for Best TV Director. Personal life Animesh Aich celebrates his birthday on February 8. He has a younger brother, named Anup Aich. Animesh studied sculpting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. ''Mini Ninjas'' is a 2009 action-adventure game developed by IO Interactive and published by Eidos Interactive for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360. ''The Magic Roundabout'' is an English-language children's programme that ran on BBC Television from 1965 to 1977. It used the footage of the French stop motion animation show '' Le Manège enchanté'' but with completely different scripts and characters. The French series, created by Serge Danot with the help of Ivor Wood and Wood's French wife, Josiane, was broadcast from 1964 to 1974 on ORTF (Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision Française). The scripts are simple fantasy stories aimed at pre-school children, with no relation to the real world. The BBC originally rejected translating the series because it was "charming... but difficult to dub into English", but later produced a version of the series using the French footage with new English-language scripts unrelated to the original storylines.
