Dunki (film)
''Dunki'' is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language adventure comedy drama film based on the illegal immigration technique donkey flight. The film is co-written, co-produced, edited and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, under Rajkumar Hirani Films, along with Jio Studios and Red Chillies Entertainment. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vikram Kochar with Vicky Kaushal in an extended cameo appearance. The film was officially announced in April 2022. Principal photography began the same month and occurred sporadically in several legs. It wrapped by late-April 2023, and filming locations included Mumbai, Jabalpur, Kashmir, Budapest, London, Jeddah and Neom. The film's songs were primarily composed by Pritam. ''Dunki'' is the soundtrack to the 2023 film of the same name directed by Rajkumar Hirani and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani amongst several others. The album featured eight songs composed by Pritam and one song by Shekhar Ravjiani. The lyricists are Swanand Kirkire, IP Singh, Javed Akhtar, Irshad Kamil, Varun Grover, Kumaar and Amitabh Bhattacharya. After four of the songs were released as singles, the album was released on 20 December 2023 through the T-Series label. ''Dhunki'' () is a 2019 Indian Gujarati drama film directed by Anish Shah and produced by Kuldip Patel, Jay Shah, and Anish Shah himself under the banner of November Films.
