Dundertåget
Dundertåget, originally known as Thunder Express, was a Swedish rock band formed in 2004 by Robert Dahlqvist. They released four albums before disbanding in 2011. History The band was formed by Dahlqvist in 2004 as a side project to highlight his lead guitar and lead vocal skills, and for performing when his full-time band The Hellacopters were on break. The band was originally named Thunder Express, after a song by MC5. They were influenced by that band plus The Rolling Stones, Cheap Trick, The Faces, and ZZ Top. The band also included guitarist Robert Pehrsson, bassist Jens Lagergren, and drummer Jesper Karlsson. Originally performing in English, Thunder Express released the albums ''We Play for Pleasure'' in 2004 and ''Republic Disgrace'' in 2007. Robert Dahlqvist
Robert Dahlqvist (16 April 1976 – 1 February 2017) was a Swedish guitarist and vocalist best known for his nine-year tenure with the rock band The Hellacopters. He was also the lead singer and lead guitarist for Dundertåget (first known as Thunder Express), a band originally started as a side project to his work with The Hellacopters. At the time of his death at age 40, Dahlqvist had nearly completed his second solo album, under the name Strängen. Career Early life and career Dahlqvist was born in Visby, Sweden but grew up in Uddevalla, Sweden, and got his first guitar at the age of ten and attended music school but quit after a month frustrated over not being allowed to play Kiss songs. Robert Pehrsson
Robert Pehrsson (born December 13, 1975) is a Swedish guitarist, singer & song writer. He has worked for such diverse bands such as Runemagick, Thunder Express, Death Breath, Dundertåget, Imperial State Electric, Slingblade and Dagger. Robert ehrsson started his career as a guitarist/vocalist around 88–89, then concentrating mainly on playing extreme music like thrash and early death metal, but soon branched out in different musical genres but mainly focusing on rock music. Pehrsson has now completed his first solo album for High Roller Records containing songs such as the guitar-driven "Haunt My Mind", "Who Else Is on Your Mind" or the soft rockin' "Can't Change". The Hellacopters
The Hellacopters are a Swedish garage rock band that was formed in 1994 by Nicke Andersson (vocals and guitar), Andreas Tyrone "Dregen" Svensson (guitar), Kenny Håkansson (bass) and Robert Eriksson (drums). Andersson (sometimes known as Nick Royale) had been the drummer for death metal band Entombed and Dregen was taking a break from his full-time band Backyard Babies. Dregen and Eriksson had been roadies for Entombed, while Håkansson was a childhood friend of Andersson's. The Hellacopters were initially conceived as a side project for Andersson and Dregen, but it eventually became the main songwriting and performance vehicle for Andersson. Stefan Sundström is a Swedish singer-songwriter and troubadour. Death Breath is a Swedish death metal band featuring Robert Pehrsson (Thunder Express/Dundertåget) and Nicke Andersson, formerly of the death metal band Entombed, who wanted to return to playing drums and death metal. Cheap Trick is an American rock band formed in Rockford, Illinois in 1970 by guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson, lead vocalist Robin Zander and drummer Bun E. Carlos.
