Ajit Kumar Singh also known as Ajit Kumar Kushwaha is an Indian politician and a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Dumraon Assembly constituency. Singh has been elected to assembly as a candidate of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation. He defeated Anjum Ara of Janata Dal (United) (JDU), as a candidate of Mahagathbandhan (Bihar) in the 2020 Bihar assembly elections. Singh won the tripolar contest, in which apart from JDU's Anjum Ara, former Member of Legislative Assembly from Dumraon, Dadan Pahalwan was also a participant. The Legislative Assembly election was held over five-phases in Bihar through October–November 2015 before the end of the tenure of the prior Legislative Assembly of Bihar on 29 November 2015.
