Dumi Mkokstad
. Mdumiseni Nzimande, widely recognized by his stage name Dumi Mkokstad, is a South African singer-songwriter. He was born in Cabazana, near Mount Ayliff, and grew up in Kokstad, where his passion for music was sparked at the age of nine. Â His studio album ''Calvary'', was released on 13 April 2020. It won Best Traditional Faith Music Album at the 26th South African Music Awards. Mkokstad ninth studio album ''The Overflow Gcwala Kimi'', was released 25 December 2023. The album won Best Traditional Faith Album at the 29th ceremony of South African Music Awards. Mkokstad received the most nominations for Best Gospel Album, Best Live Recording, Best Collaboration, Best Male, and won Best Gospel Songwriter for "Vumbelimnandi" at the 16th edition of the Crown Gospel Music Awards. It is a member of the Times Media Group, under Entertainment Logistics Services (ELS). The company provides a weekly top 10 airplay chart, which is available for viewing by the general public online. A top 100 is available for subscribed users of the company's website. Khaya Mthethwa
Khaya Mthethwa (born 25 November 1987) is a South African singer-songwriter, musician, composer, arranger, and a multi-instrumentalist. Prior his solo career, was a choir member of the gospel group Joyous Celebration. Born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, his musical career began as a drummer at the age of 10 in 1997, prior joining a school choir as a singer year after. He is best known for winning the 8th season of TV singing competition ''Idols South Africa'', the first black person to have done so.
