Dulhan (1975 Film)
''Dulhan'' () is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language drama film, produced by B. Anand Valli under the Sujatha International banner and directed by C. V. Rajendran. It stars Jeetendra, Hema Malini and Jamuna. The film is a remake of 1972 Kannada movie '' Yaava Janmada Maitri'' which was earlier remade in Telugu as ''Sarada'' (1973). Plot Dr. Ashok (Jeetendra) is a renowned psychiatrist who lives with his wife Padma (Jamuna). Once, he visits a village where everyone is dumbfounded and Radha (Hema Malini) one eagerly waiting for her husband, indulges to see him. At that point, he learns about the past from her brother Keshav (Ashok Kumar). Radha is the darling daughter of the village as she concerns and facilitates everyone. Jeetendra (born Ravi Kapoor ; 7 April 1942) is an Indian actor who is known for his work in Hindi cinema. He is regarded as one of the greatest actors of Hindi cinema. He is noted for his acting, style and dance. He has worked in more than Jeetendra filmography, 200 films in a career spanning over six decades. Agha (21 March 1914 – 30 April 1992) was an Indian actor of Bollywood films. He was known for comic roles and modeled himself on Bob Hope's style of acting. He appeared in over 300 Hindi films in his career between 1935 and 1986. His son, Jalal Agha, also became an actor, mostly known for the song ''Mehbooba Mehbooba'' in ''Sholay'' (1975). Kanwarjit Paintal, better known as Paintal (born 22 August 1948), is an Indian actor and comedian. He started off as a comic actor and moved on to teaching the art of acting. He has extensively worked not only in numerous movies but also television. He was born into a Sikh family in a village named Tarn Taran which is near Amritsar, Punjab. He lived his early life with his family members in Sadar Bazaar, Delhi. Paintal learnt acting at the Film and Television Institute of India and in 2008 was the Head of the Acting Department of FTII. Nazir Hussain
Nazir Hussain (15 May 1922 – 16 October 1987) was an Indian actor, director and screenwriter. He was famous as a character actor in Hindi cinema and was a pioneer of Bhojpuri cinema. He acted in almost 500 films, with Dev Anand starring in a large proportion of the films he acted in. Early life Nazir Hussain's father Shahabzad Khan was a guard in the Railways and Hussain grew up in Lucknow. He himself worked as a fireman in the railways for few months and soon joined the British army during World War II. He was posted in Malaysia and Singapore where he became a prisoner of war. After being freed, he came under the influence of Subhas Chandra Bose and joined the Indian National Army (INA).
