''Due assi per un turbo'' was an Italy, Italian-Hungary, Hungarian TV series portrayed in 12 one-hour episodes. It was produced by RAI from 1984-1987 and broadcast by Rai Uno in 1987. The series was created by Luciano Perugia, and was inspired by the Brazilian sitcom Carga Pesada (1979). Stelvio Massi directed most of the episodes, which were written by Tonino Valerii; the score was composed by Detto Mariani. Plot The plot revolves around two truckers, Franco (Renato D'Amore) and Vanni (Christian Fremon) and their tractor unit, rig, an Iveco 190-42 Turbostar named ''Gambero Rosso'' (''Red Prawn'' in English language, English). Recurring characters are Orazio (Philippe Leroy (actor), Philippe Leroy and Giò (Alba Mottura). Adolfo Celi
Adolfo Celi (; 27 July 1922 – 19 February 1986) was an Italian film actor and director. Born in Curcuraci, Messina, Sicily, Celi appeared in nearly 100 films, specialising in international villains. Although a prominent actor in Italian cinema and famed for many roles, he is best remembered internationally for his portrayal of Emilio Largo in the 1965 James Bond film '' Thunderball''. Celi later spoofed his ''Thunderball'' role in the film '' OK Connery'' (aka ''Operation Double 007'') opposite Sean Connery's brother, Neil Connery. Life and career Celi became a film actor in post-war Italy. Rémy Julienne (17 April 1930 – 21 January 2021) was a French driving stunt performer and coordinator, assistant director and occasional actor. He was also a rallycross champion and 1956 French motorcross champion. Early life Julienne was born in 1930, the son of café owners in the town of Cepoy, 110 km south-east of Paris. During World War II, he was dared by children evacuated from Paris to ride a bicycle across the local canal, which inspired him to start riding motocross.
