''The Herald'' is a nationwide mid-market tabloid newspaper headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and published by Independent News & Media who are a subsidiary of Mediahuis. Good Counsel GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in County Dublin, Ireland. The club is based in Drimnagh in the south of Dublin. History The club was formed in 1954. The club's most famous player was Kevin Moran. The club fields teams in Gaelic football, hurling and camogie to represent the South Dublin parish of Drimnagh. The club, known locally as 'Counsel', is one of the biggest sporting clubs in the area, with approximately 800 members. There are boys and girls teams which play hurling, football and camogie from nursery up to minor level. The club is represented at intermediate hurling, senior camogie and at intermediate football level with junior teams in football, and camogie. In March 2016, the club merged with Liffey Gaels of nearby Ballyfermot for their 2016 Junior B Hurling Campaign and would be competing as Counsel Gaels. Naomh Maur is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Rush, Dublin, Ireland. The club was founded in 1928. History Naomh Maur G.A.A. club is based in Rush, Fingal, North County Dublin. Rush is a farming and market gardening area, seventeen miles from Dublin City. Football was played in the area between local Parish Teams prior to the foundation of the G.A.A. in 1884. It is believed that a Club called "Emerald Isles" existed 1900, but there are no records to support this. After an unsuccessful attempt to set up a Club between 1914 and 1919, local Curate Fr. Skeehan organised football games in the local school. In 1928, two Gardaí, Tom MacCarville and Peter Fallon, who were stationed in Rush, and local G.A.A enthusiast Mick Jones called a meeting.
