Dubai Ladies Masters
The Dubai Moonlight Classic is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour (LET). The event was played for the first time in October 2006. Its prize fund of €500,000 made it the fourth most valuable tournament on the LET. Between 2009 and 2020, Swiss luxury watch company Omega was the tournament's title sponsor. Promoted and organised by Golf In Dubai, the tournament is played on the Faldo course at Emirates Golf Club, which also hosts the Dubai Desert Classic on the men's European Tour. Annika Sörenstam won the event the first two times it was played. Sörenstam beat out Karrie Webb in 2006, and in 2007 defeated Iben Tinning by two shots. The 2008 event, which was Sörenstam's final tournament before her retirement, was won by Germany's Anja Monke. Anja Monke
Anja Monke (born 28 May 1977) is a German professional golfer. She has played on the Ladies European Tour since 2004. Monke was born in Herford. In 2003, she won the International Amateur Championships of Switzerland and Italy, and was voted German Ladies Amateur Golfer of the Year. In Autumn, with a handicap of +3, she turned professional. Monke played for Germany with Miriam Nagl in 2006 and Denise Simon in 2007 in the Women's World Cup of Golf in South Africa. In September 2008, she won her first professional tournament, the Vediorbis Open de France Dames. She then qualified for the LPGA Tour and won the Dubai Ladies Masters in December 2008. 2013 Ladies European Tour
The 2013 Ladies European Tour was the 35th season of the Ladies European Tour (LET), a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world, which took place from February through December 2013. Changes for 2013 The tour scheduled a total of 23 events, including the return of the Ladies Italian Open, which hadn't been on the tour since 2009. It also features the bi-annual Europe vs. USA Solheim Cup, which will rotate its turn to the United States for 2013. Also added to the tour is the Helsingborg Open in Sweden. Leaving the tour for 2013 were the Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open (Switzerland), the Ladies Irish Open (Ireland), and the UNIQA Ladies Golf Open (Austria). Angel Yin
Angel Yin (born October 3, 1998) is an American professional golfer currently playing on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Yin won the 7–8 year old Junior World Golf Championships, won the California Women's Amateur Championship as a 12 year old and again as a 14 year old, was the youngest player at the 2011 U.S. Women's Amateur, was co-medalist at a U.S. Women's Amateur, and was the youngest player in the field at the 2012 U.S. Women's Open (also the second youngest in history). In 2015, she competed in the Junior Solheim Cup. Professional Yin posted five top-5 finishes in 2017. Nuria Iturrioz (born 16 December 1995) is a Spanish professional golfer on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and LPGA Tour. She has four LET career wins, at the 2016 and 2019 Lalla Meryem Cup, 2019 Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic and the 2023 La Sella Open. Minjee Lee
Minjee Lee (born 27 May 1996) is an Australian professional golfer from Perth. She became the number one ranked amateur golfer in February 2014 after winning the Oates Victorian Open, remaining number one until turning professional in September 2014. On 25 July 2021, Lee won her first major championship, the Amundi Evian Championship. On 5 June 2022, she won her second major championship, the U.S. Women's Open. Amateur career In 2010, Lee became the youngest winner of the WA Amateur Open while still a year 9 student at Methodist Ladies' College, Perth.
