James Edward Olliges Jr. (born April 27, 1978), professionally known as Jim James or Yim Yames, is an American vocalist, guitarist, producer, and primary songwriter of the rock band My Morning Jacket. He has also released several solo albums. Early life James grew up in the Highlands–Douglass neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. Vandaveer ( Mark Charles Heidinger) is an American, Louisville, KY-based indie-folk musical project, spearheaded by singer-songwriter Mark Charles Heidinger. Vandaveer has released five albums and three EPs since 2007, touring extensively throughout the US and Europe, logging over 1200 shows to date. John Sturgill Simpson (born June 8, 1978) is an American country music singer-songwriter and actor. As of February 2022, he has released seven albums as a solo artist. Joe Pug (born Joseph Pugliese, April 20, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter from Greenbelt, Maryland. Justin William Wells (born August 11, 1982) is an American country music and roots rock singer-songwriter. Wells has released two solo albums as well as four albums as singer/songwriter/rhythm guitarist for former Lexington, Kentucky alternative country/southern rock band Fifth on the Floor.
