Drögmöller (''Drögmöller-Karosserien GmbH & Co. KG'') was a motor coach manufacturer based in Heilbronn, Germany. The company operated between 1920 and 2005 and was known for the production of touring coaches. Volvo B12
The Volvo B12, also known as the Volvo B12R, was a rear-engined heavy-duty coach chassis manufactured by Volvo in Sweden between 1991 and 2001, and in Brazil between 1997 and 2011. History The B12 was Volvo's first large coach chassis with a vertically mounted engine, which limited the available body models that would fit. It was first fitted with the 12.0-litre TD122/TD123, which in 1995 was replaced by the 12.1-litre D12A. Because of the engine height it was probably less popular than the lower B10B, but it was Volvo's only rear-engined coach chassis that was offered as a tri-axle. The only other option for a tri-axle coach was the mid-engined B10M, and not all customers wanted to have the engine "where the luggage was supposed to be". Volvo 8700
The Volvo 8700 is a single-decker city and single-decker intercity bus from Volvo manufactured between 2002 and 2011. It was available both with medium floor and as the low-entry Volvo 8700LE, which was even built as the articulated Volvo 8700LEA on a B12BLEA chassis. It was also available as a coach, and even some were delivered with a toilet. As a successor to the Carrus Vega, which was also built and sold as Volvo B10-400 and Volvo 7250 in Germany and Poland, the main difference was that it was built on the Volvo TX platform. The exterior was just as a simple facelift from the old model. The medium floor 8700 was available on B7R, B12B and B12M chassis, with all except the B7R available as a tri-axle bus. Marketed mainly for tourist and long-distance duties, the B7R is also manufactured in China, Brazil, Hungary, India and Iran for use in regional transport services.
