"Drunk on a Plane" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Dierks Bentley. It was released in April 2014 as the third single from his seventh studio album '' Riser''. Frederick Dierks Bentley (; born November 20, 1975) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Bentley moved to Nashville in the late 90s to pursue a career in music, leading up to his releasing the self-funded and independent album Don't Leave Me in Love in 2001. In 2003, he signed to Capitol Nashville and released his eponymous debut album. Both it and its follow-up, 2005's '' Modern Day Drifter'', are certified Platinum in the United States, and his third album, 2006's '' Long Trip Alone'', is certified Gold. Jeffrey Phillip Calvin Dye (born February 4, 1983) is an American stand-up comedian and actor. Early life Dye was born in 1983 in Seattle and raised in Kent, Washington.
