Dropout is an American comedy subscription streaming service run by the production company of the same name (formerly CollegeHumor), founded in September 2018. Its ad-free original shows are mainly composed of live play, such as ''Dimension 20'' hosted by Brennan Lee Mulligan, and improv comedy and panel shows like '' Game Changer'', '' Make Some Noise'' (both hosted by Dropout owner and CEO Sam Reich), and '' Very Important People''. Dropout's series often feature a rotating cast of regular comedians and performers. Sam Reich
Samuel Dalton Reich ( ; born July 22, 1984) is an American media executive, writer, producer, comedian, and actor. He is best known for his work with Dropout (formerly CollegeHumor), of which he is now the CEO, including hosting the series '' Game Changer'' and its spin-off '' Make Some Noise'', as well as his work on TruTV's '' Adam Ruins Everything''. Early life Reich was born on July 22, 1984 to Robert Reich, a lawyer who would later be appointed to Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton, and Clare Dalton, a law professor at Northeastern University. He grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His brother, Adam Reich, is a sociology professor at Columbia University. Career In 2000, Reich dropped out of Buckingham Browne & Nichols School as a result of clinical depression and in order to pursue acting. Richard Rafael Van Veen (born December 14, 1980) is an American entrepreneur and the Head of Global Creative Strategy at Facebook. Van Veen co-founded Connected Ventures, the early tech startup that launched the comedy brand CollegeHumor and the video sharing website Vimeo. He was also CEO of Notional, the television production company behind the popular series '' Chopped''.
