Droeloe
Droeloe (stylised as DROELOE) is an electronic music project formed by Dutch musician Vincent Rooijers in 2016. Hein Hamers was also part of the project until his departure in 2020. Career Vincent Rooijers and Hein Hamers met at the Utrecht School of Arts around 2014. Rooijers was studying music and composition, while Hamers was studying visual arts. They worked on art projects at school and made music in their spare time. The project began as a joke; Hein said that "we were just joking around. That kind of got really serious really quickly so..." Rooijers explained that the name "Droeloe" is also a joke, and that "It kind of means being drunk or uplifted in a way, but it also means actually shit so the best way to translate it would be to be shitfaced I guess". Their inspirations include Hybris, Culprate, Clark, Camo and Krooked, Noisia, Still Woozy, Anderson .Paak, Sufjan Stevens, Bibio and Avishai Cohen. The Art Of Change
''The Art of Change'' is a studio album by Dutch musical project Droeloe, released on September 15, 2023. Background and composition Droeloe was a duo formed by Vincent Rooijers and Hein Hamers. On October 21, 2020, Hamers announced his departure from the project. Rooijers said that, since then, he felt like he became a different artist, "not so much in a musical or creative way, but more so in a holistic sense of who I am as a person and what it means to push a project like this forward". He said this process was a big inspiration for ''The Art of Change''. The album contains voice memos from young, old, and AI-generated voice actors. Rooijers said that these messages were inspired by the idea that " gaging in a continuous conversation with myself makes it easier to gain control over the direction I grow in as an individual." Bitbird (stylised as bitbird) is an independent record label and creative company based in The Hague, Netherlands founded by Sander van Dijck in 2014. The label is jointly run by Sander van Dijck's manager Budi Voogt and his longtime friend and associate Thorwald van den Akker, who is also the label's creative director and co-founder. While Bitbird is known primarily for releasing the electronic dance music subgenre future bass, they have also released a wide variety of genres including classical music, R&B, trap, and electronica. Sander van Dijck (born 26 November 1990), better known by his stage name San Holo, is a Dutch DJ, musician, songwriter and record producer from Zoetermeer. He gained international recognition for his remix of Dr. Dre's " The Next Episode", which currently has over 272 million views on YouTube.
