Georgia Claire Flipo (born 22 September 1993), known professionally as G Flip, is an Australian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Melbourne, Victoria. About Us (album)
''About Us'' is the debut studio album by Australian indie pop singer G Flip. The album was released on 30 August 2019. Prior to the album's release, the songs were described as about "heartbreak and reconciliation". G Flip said: "I thought about releasing an album a lot growing up, I would sit in the lounge room holding dad's record collection in awe, I was intrigued, I wanted my own. It's a big moment, I'm super stoked to drop my debut." The album was supported by an Australian tour, commencing in Adelaide on 8 November 2019. The 2019 Triple J Hottest 100 was announced on 25 January 2020. It is the 27th countdown of the most popular songs of the year, as chosen by listeners of Australian radio station triple j. A record-breaking number of votes (3.21 million) were cast by listeners choosing their top ten songs of 2019. This was the first Hottest 100 countdown to reach 3 million votes. American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish was voted into first place with her single " Bad Guy". In doing so, she became the first female solo artist, and the youngest act (at 18 years old) to top a Hottest 100.
