Drew Sherman
Drew Sherman is a Welsh professional football manager who is the technical director of Melbourne Victory FC, Melbourne Victory. He was previously the technical director of the Brisbane Roar FC, Brisbane Roar, in addition to being the Cook Islands national football team, Cook Islands national team's most successful manager. Managerial career Sherman previously coached at Southampton F.C., Southampton where he worked within the successful academy programme. In 2011, he became the youngest academy manager in the Football League taking the reins of Aldershot Town F.C., Aldershot Town's academy. He has also been academy manager at Crawley Town F.C., Crawley Town. Sherman holds the UEFA Pro and A Licences, passing his A Licence at the age of 21 through the Football Association of Wales in 2009. He is the son of (Australian) technical director Rob Sherman. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. National Youth League (Australia)
A-League Youth, formerly known as the National Youth League and Y-League, is an Australian national soccer youth developmental and under-21s league, founded by Football Federation Australia and now run by the Australian Professional Leagues. The current league was established as a successor to the previous competition of the National Youth League (1984–2004) and commenced in August 2008. The league runs in conjunction with the A-League Men as a developmental or reserve league. The league, as well as the A-League Men and A-League Women are administered by the Australian Professional Leagues. In 2020 it was contested by ten teams, all of which competed in the A-League.
