Drew Peterson (basketball)
Drew B. Peterson (born November 9, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Maine Celtics of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Rice Owls men's basketball, Rice Owls and the USC Trojans men's basketball, USC Trojans. Early life and high school career Peterson grew up in Libertyville, Illinois and attended Libertyville High School. He was named the Lake County, Illinois, Lake County Player of the Year as a senior after averaging 26.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. Two-way Contract
A two-way contract is a professional sports contract that stipulates that an athlete's salary is dependent upon the league in which the athlete is assigned to play. This is opposed to a one-way contract that would pay the same salary regardless of where the athlete is assigned to play.
