Drew Millas
Andrew Theodore Millas (born January 15, 1998) is an American professional baseball catcher for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2023. Career Amateur career Millas attended Belleville East High School in Belleville, Illinois. He attended Missouri State University and played college baseball for three years with the Missouri State Bears as a catcher. In 2018, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Oakland Athletics The Oakland Athletics selected Millas in the seventh round, with the 224th overall selection, of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft. Lansing Lugnuts
The Lansing Lugnuts are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. They are located in Lansing, Michigan, and play their home games at Jackson Field. The Midwest League came to Lansing after owners Tom Dickson and Sherrie Myers moved the team to work with the city for a public-private lease to build a new stadium. Mayor David Hollister, and the City Council worked to attract the owners and build the stadium for downtown economic development. The team began playing in downtown Lansing in 1996. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes.
