Drew Christensen
Drew Christensen (born May 21, 1993) is an American politician and former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A Republican, he represented District 56A, which included portions of Dakota County and Scott County in the southwestern part of Minneapolis–Saint Paul Metro. Early life, education, and career Christensen was born in Savage, Minnesota. Throughout high school Christensen was an umpire for baseball and softball in Prior Lake, Minnesota. He graduated from Prior Lake High School in 2011. The summer after graduation he worked on his family farm near Garvin, Minnesota. Christensen attended the University of Minnesota, graduating in December 2015 with a degree in Political Science. At the university, Christensen served on the Minnesota Student Association and featured as a member of the University of Minnesota Marching Band. Pamela J. Myhra (born 1957) is an American politician and served as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives during the 87th and 88th legislative sessions. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, she represented portions of Dakota and Scott counties in the southern Twin Cities metropolitan area. Burnsville () is a city south of downtown Minneapolis in Dakota County, Minnesota. The University of Minnesota Marching Band (also known as UMMB, Minnesota Marching Band, and The Pride of Minnesota) is the marching band of the University of Minnesota and the flagship university band for the state of Minnesota. The Pride of Minnesota serves as an ambassador for the university, representing the school at major events both on and off campus. Prior Lake High School
Prior Lake High School (PLHS) is located in Savage, Minnesota, United States and enrolls students in grades 912. The school is part of the South Suburban Conference. It has approximately 2,900 students currently enrolled, along with a teaching and administrative staff of around 400. The students and teams at Prior Lake High School are known as "Lakers". A book, "Another Planet: A Year in the Life of a Suburban High School", was written by author Elinor Burkett and paints a controversial portrait of life in the school and around the city of Prior Lake.
