Dreamslayer
Dreamslayer is a fictional character, a powerful DC Comics supervillain and part of the evil gang called Extremists. Like the other Extremists, he is an homage to a Marvel Comics character, in this case Dormammu. He first appeared in ''Justice League Europe'' #15 (June 1990), and was created by Keith Giffen, Gerard Jones and Bart Sears. Fictional character biography Dreamslayer is a member of the Extremists and worked with them to kill most people on Angor, their home planet. He follows along to Earth with the four surviving humans of his world, Mitch Wacky, Wandjina, Silver Sorceress and Blue Jay. He possesses Maxwell Lord, kidnaps Wacky, and forces him to repair Lord Havok before killing him. The Silver Sorceress attacks the island, along with her Justice League comrades. The natives of the island, mentally controlled by Dreamslayer, attack. The League's desire to not hurt the innocent natives costs the Sorceress her life, as she is hit with an arrow in the stomach. Maxwell Lord
Maxwell Lord IV is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in ''Justice League'' #1 (May 1987) and was created by Keith Giffen, J. M. DeMatteis, and Kevin Maguire (artist), Kevin Maguire. Maxwell Lord was originally introduced as a shrewd and powerful businessman who was an ally of the Justice League and was influential in the formation of the Justice League International, but he later developed into an adversary of Wonder Woman and the Justice League. Lord Havok is a fictional character, a DC Comics supervillain, part of the supervillain team called the Extremists. Like the other Extremists, he is a pastiche of a Marvel Comics character, specifically Doctor Doom. He is a genius equipped with a powered armor. Lord Havok first appeared in ''Justice League Europe'' #15 (June 1990). Fictional character biography As told in a flashback in ''Justice League Quarterly'' #3 (Summer 1991), the man who would become Lord Havok was originally one of five terrorists on Angor, an Earth-like world in a parallel universe. The terrorists captured an experimental nuclear weapon and threatened to use it against the Justifiers, the primary superhero team on Angor. When the device exploded, the five terrorists were turned into the superpowered Extremists. The Silver Sorceress is a DC Comics character and member of the Champions of Angor with the alter ego of Laura Cynthia Neilsen. She first appeared in ''Justice League of America'' #87, (February 1971), and is an homage to the Scarlet Witch. As her name suggests, she possesses magical powers which have become more advanced over time. Fictional character biography The Silver Sorceress, Blue Jay, and Wandjina (characters based on Marvel's Scarlet Witch, Yellowjacket and Thor, respectively) are the only survivors of a nuclear holocaust on an alternate Earth. The Champions of Angor (also known as the Justifiers, the Assemblers and the Meta Militia) are a fictional team of superheroes in the DC universe. They were created by Mike Friedrich and Dick Dillin in ''Justice League Comics'' #87 in February 1971. Origins The team was introduced in ''Justice League'' #87 (February 1971), written by Mike Friedrich.
