''Dreamchaser'' is the eleventh studio album by English singer Sarah Brightman. This album is Brightman's first collaboration with producer Mike Hedges and centres on the concept of space. The offering was inspired by Brightman's decision to become the first singer in outer space, as she intended to launch on an orbital spaceflight mission to the International Space Station (ISS) in partnership with Space Adventures, Ltd., a private space experiences company. Nevertheless, in March 2015 it was announced that Brightman had postponed the flight due to personal reasons. It was released in Japan on 16 January 2013 and in the United Kingdom on 8 April 2017 and in the North America on 16 April 2013 to critical acclaim. The Dreamchaser World Tour was Brightman's eighth concert tour and served as a major promotion of the album. Sarah Brightman (born 14 August 1960) is an English classical crossover soprano singer, actress and dancer. Brightman began her career as a member of the dance troupe Hot Gossip and released several disco singles as a solo performer. In 1981, she made her West End musical theatre debut in '' Cats'' and met composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, whom she later married. She went on to star in several West End and Broadway musicals, including '' The Phantom of the Opera'', where she originated the role of Christine Daaé. Her original London cast album of ''Phantom'' was released in CD format in 1987 and sold 40 million copies worldwide, making it the biggest-selling cast album ever. Dreamchaser World Tour
The Dreamchaser World Tour was the fifth worldwide concert tour by English soprano singer Sarah Brightman in support of her album ''Dreamchaser'' (2013). The North American tour had been planned to begin in early 2013, but all dates were rescheduled for late 2013. The tour was supposed to be Brightman's final concert tour before her trip into Outer space, space (which the ''Dreamchaser'' album is based on) but the trip was later cancelled due to personal reasons. The 2013 North American leg of Brightman's "Dreamchaser" tour consisted of her performing 86 shows over a seven-month time span. It has been her longest tour since the Harem World Tour in 2004, and it was also her worldwide tour with more dates in Asia and South America. Christopher Henry Difford (born 4 November 1954) is an English singer, musician, songwriter and record producer. He is a founding member and songwriter of the rock group Squeeze. Musical career Born in Greenwich, London, Difford has written lyrics for over 40 years, most notably in partnership with Glenn Tilbrook. The two were primary members in Squeeze and Difford & Tilbrook.
