Dream Out Loud
Dream Out Loud (DOL) is an Indian indie rock band, formed by Suraj Jagan and Chandresh Kudwa. They had a three-minute cameo appearance in the Bollywood movie ''Rock On''. Formation and early years (1999–2006) The two principal members of the band, Suraj Jagan and Chandresh Kudwa, are from different backgrounds. Lead vocalist Jagan started his career in 1999 with a solo album, ''Musafir'', which included the songs "Musafir", "Baadal", "Phir Aaye Teri Yaad", "Hamesha" and "Dil Se". The album, released by Milestone Entertainment Pvt Ltd, a licensee for EMI Music in India, was also recorded in Tamil and performed averagely on the market. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". One of the primary scenes of the movement was Dunedin, where Dunedin sound, a cultural scene based around a convergence of noise pop and jangle became popular among the city's University of Otago, large student population. Chris Cornell
Christopher John Cornell (né Boyle; July 20, 1964 – May 18, 2017) was an American singer and musician best known as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and primary lyricist and songwriter for the rock bands Soundgarden and Audioslave. He also had a solo career and contributed to numerous movie soundtracks. Audioslave was an American rock supergroup formed in Glendale, California, in 2001.
