Georges Tron
Georges Tron (born 1 August 1957 in Neuilly-sur-Seine) is a French politician. He served as Secretary of Public Affairs in the Cabinet of François Baroin but resigned after accusations of sexual assault were made against him. He was mayor of Draveil from 1995 to 2021, and only resigned from that role several months into his 3-years prison sentence for rape. Biography Georges Tron received his Baccalauréat at the Lycée Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague in 1975 and a Masters in Public Law. In 1986, he was appointed as parliamentary advisor to Édouard Balladur, then Minister of Economy and Finance. From 1988 to 1993, he served as Chief of Staff for Balladur. From 1997 to 2002, he served as budgetary advisor to the Prime Minister, Lionel Jospin. In 1999, he served as National Secretary of the Rally for the Republic and in 2002, he joined the Union for a Popular Movement. He became President of the Union des Jeunes pour le Progrès. Paul Lafargue
Paul Lafargue (; ; 15 January 1842 – 25 November 1911) was a Cuban-born French political writer, economist, journalist, literary critic, and activist; he was Karl Marx's son-in-law, having married his second daughter, Laura. His best known work is '' The Right to Be Lazy''. Born in Cuba to French and Creole parents, Lafargue spent most of his life in France, with periods in England and Spain. At the age of 69, he and 66-year-old Laura died together by a suicide pact. Lafargue was the subject of a famous quotation by Karl Marx. Soon before Marx died in 1883, he wrote a letter to Lafargue and the French Workers' Party organizer Jules Guesde, both of whom already claimed to represent "Marxist" principles. Marx accused them of "revolutionary phrase-mongering" and of denying the value of reformist struggles. Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg
Charles Euphrasie Kuwasseg (1838, Draveil, Essonne – 1904) was a French painter of the 19th century. He essentially specialized in landscape paintings - particularly the coastal landscapes of Brittany and Normandy. His father, Karl Joseph Kuwasseg, was an Austrians, Austrian born in Trieste on March 16, 1802, and also a renowned painter. His father left for Paris, and took French nationality. He died in Paris in January 1877. The younger Kuwasseg had exhibitions at the Salon of French Artists and the Salon (Paris), Paris Salon. He won the bronze medal in 1892 at the Salon of French Artists. Charles received his first training from his father and subsequently received his formal training studying under Jean-Baptiste Henri Durand-Brager, Jean Baptiste Henri Durand-Brager and Eugene Isabey. Edmond Louis Antoine Huot de Goncourt (; 26 May 182216 July 1896) was a French writer, literary critic, art critic, book publisher and the founder of the Académie Goncourt. Biography Goncourt was born in Nancy. His parents, Marc-Pierre Huot de Goncourt and Annette-Cécile de Goncourt (née Guérin), were minor aristocrats who died when he and his brother Jules de Goncourt were young adults. RER D is one of the five lines in the (English: Regional Express Network), a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris and its suburbs. The line crosses the region from north to south, with all trains serving a group of stations in central Paris, before branching out towards the ends of the line. The line connects Creil in the north to Melun and Malesherbes in the south, passing through the heart of Paris. Line D also links Gare du Nord with Gare de Lyon via Châtelet-Les Halles.
