Dragutin Ciotti
Dragutin Ciotti (19 October 1905 – 17 March 1974) was a Croatian Gymnastics, gymnast. He competed in the Gymnastics at the 1928 Summer Olympics – Men's team, men's team and won the bronze medal at the 1928 Summer Olympics. The son of a teacher Giuseppe Ciotti, Italy, Italian by nationality and Albina Ciotti, née Blečić. After the turbulent years spent in Rijeka, after the First World War, the family moved to the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs, State of Slovenes. He was a big fan of the gym and trained in the Croatian Sokol movement, Croatian "Sokol" sports society. He was the seventh of ten children. He managed to get into the national team, then one of the three strongest win the world. He was one of the few of the Croatia, Croats at the time. There he represented the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Sušak, Rijeka
Sušak (in Italian ''Sussak'') is a part of the city of Rijeka in Croatia, where it composes the eastern part of the city, separated from the city center by the Rječina river, which in former times served as an international border. Notable features of Sušak include the public beaches at Pećine and Glavanovo, along with the Tower Center shopping mall. Croatian Sokol Movement
The Sokol movement (, ) is an all-age gymnastics organization founded in Prague in the Czech lands of Austria-Hungary in 1862 by Miroslav Tyrš and Jindřich Fügner. It was based upon the principle of " a strong mind in a sound body". Sokol, through lectures, discussions, and group outings, provided what Tyrš viewed as physical, moral, and intellectual training for the nation. This training extended to men of all ages and classes, and eventually to women. The movement spread across all the regions populated by Slavic cultures, most of them part of either Austria-Hungary or the Russian Empire: present-day Slovakia, the Slovene Lands, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland ( Polish Sokół movement), Ukraine, and Belarus.
