Dragan Stanković
Dragan Stanković ( sr-cyrl, Драган Станковић, born 18 October 1985) is a Serbian professional volleyball player, a member of Serbian national team and Italian club Modena Volley, a participant of the Olympic Games London 2012, bronze medalist of the World Championship, European Champion 2011, medalist of World League. In 2020 Stanković changed the Federation of origin, playing with the Italian sporting nationality from the 2020-2021 season. Career National team He has been a long time member of Serbian national team, where he became squad captain after Bojan Janić decided to retire from national team. With national team he won a gold medal at the European Championships in 2011 which was held in Austria and Czech Republic. In his collection he also have a four silver medals and one bronze from the World Leagues. Zaječar
Zaječar ( sr-Cyrl, Зајечар, ; or ) is a city and the administrative center of the Zaječar District in eastern Serbia. According to the 2022 census, the city administrative area had a population of 48,621 inhabitants. FIVB World League
The FIVB Volleyball World League was an annual international men's volleyball competition. Created in 1990, it was the longest and richest of all the international events organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The women's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup. From 2018, the World League and World Grand Prix was replaced by the men's and women's Nations League and men's and women's Challenger Cup. 2010 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship
The 2010 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship was held in Italy from 25 September to 10 October 2010. The tournament featured 24 teams to determine the world champions in men's volleyball. In addition to 2006 champion Brazil and host nation Italy, 22 teams qualified for the tournament by means of continental and regional competitions. The matches took place in ten venues across ten Italian cities, with the final being held at the PalaLottomatica, Rome. The tournament was won by Brazil, who beat Cuba in final. Brazil won their third straight world championship having won previously in 2002 and 2006. The podium was completed by Serbia who defeated Italy in the 3rd place match. Brazilian wing-spiker Murilo Endres was named the tournament MVP. Brazil's victory continued their eight-year period of domination of world volleyball. The 2017 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball, CEV.
