Dr. Hala
Dr. Hala () is a Lebanese television series produced in 2009 by Marwa Group. The series was written by Claudia Marchalian. Plot Hala (Rita Barsona) had bad emotional experiences in her youth. As an adult, she ignored love to focus on study and work, until she met the journalist Ghadi (Peter Semaan), with whom she fell in love. However, after a former lover Nadeem ( Muhammad Ibrahim) returns, Hala lives in a struggle between the past, present and future. Murr Television, marketed and known as MTV Lebanon, is a Lebanon, Lebanese television station based in Naccache, Metn District. History Founded in 1991 by Gabriel Murr, a Lebanese businessman and politician. MTV was shut down in 2002 as it was found guilty of violating article 68 of the electoral law of 1999 which bans propaganda during the election process but, since other Lebanese channels did not comply with the law either, some observers suspect that the closure was due to MTV’s criticism of the Lebanese government and of Syria. As well as lawsuit againt MTV In 2005, the Lebanese parliament decided to amend article 68 and reopen the station after the Syrian troops withdrew from Lebanon and the anti-Syrian opposition coalition won a majority in Lebanon’s parliament, but the station remained closed. Aline Lahoud ( ar, ألين لحود; born 2 March 1981) is a Lebanese singer. Life Lahoud's parents are Salwa Al Katrib and producer Nahi Lahoud. She studied singing and dramatic art from 1997 until 1999. In 2002, she received a BA degree in Communication Arts, majoring in Screenplay and Directing Studies. Career After winning the international prize at the Megahit-International Mediterranean Song Contest in Turkey, Lahoud was selected by Télé Liban to represent in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, with the song "Quand tout s'enfuit". Gilles Youssef
The Gilles are the oldest and principal participants in the Carnival of Binche in Belgium. They go out on Shrove Tuesday from 4 am until late hours and dance to traditional songs. Other cities, such as La Louvière and Nivelles, have a tradition of Gilles at carnival, but the Carnival of Binche is by far the most famous.
