Cédric Doumbé (born August 30, 1992) is a Cameroonian-born French professional mixed martial artist and former kickboxer, currently fighting in the Welterweight division of the Professional Fighters League (PFL). In kickboxing, he is a former two-time Glory Welterweight Champion. Doumbé was ranked as the #1 welterweight in the world for several years by Combat Press and other publications. In 2016 he was named the Fighter of the Year by Combat Press and Liver Kick. Background Born in Douala, Cameroon, Doumbé moved to France with his family at the age of nine. He and his sister were raised by their widowed mother as their father died in a car accident around the time Cédric was born. Cédric Aristide N'Doumbé Bosso (born 11 October 1990) is a Cameroonian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Yaoundé, Cameroon, N’Doumbé moved to Belgium at the age of 16 and joined Anderlecht's youth academy. After being released by Anderlecht, he trialled with French club Nîmes and earned a professional contract. In January 2011, N’Doumbé signed with AS Cherbourg on loan, achieving promotion to Championnat National. Having spent the 2011–12 season with US Ivry, he returned to Cherbourg, where he stayed for the two seasons, one in the Championnat National and one in Championnat de France Amateur. François N'Doumbé Léa (born 30 January 1954) is a Cameroonian professional footballer who played as a defender. He was a non-playing squad member for the Cameroon national team at the 1982 FIFA World Cup. He also was part of the side that won the 1984 African Cup of Nations. Jean-Joël Perrier-Doumbé (born 27 September 1978) is a former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Born in France, he gained 20 caps for Cameroon, qualifying through heritage. Club career Early career Born in Paris, Perrier-Doumbé started his career at Auxerre, making over 50 first-team appearances before moving to Rennes in 2004. He quickly became a first-team regular at the Stade de la Route de Lorient, making 27 appearances in Ligue 1 in the 2005–06 season. Mathias Kouo-Doumbé (born 28 October 1979), often known simply as Mat or Mathias Doumbé, is a French former defender (association football), footballer. He began his career in his native France, where he was on the books of Paris Saint-Germain F.C., Paris Saint-Germain and was capped by the France national under-21 football team, French under-21 team.
