Douglas Augusto Soares Gomes (born 13 January 1997) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Russian Premier League club Krasnodar. Club career Brazil Born in Rio de Janeiro, Douglas joined Fluminense's youth setup in 2004, aged seven. On 6 September 2015, he made his first team – and Série A – debut, starting in a 3–1 home loss against rivals Flamengo. Douglas became an undisputed starter during the 2016 season, renewing his contract until 2021 in February. Originally, it was to be held from 23 July to 8 August 2020, but the Summer Olympics were postponed to the following year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the official name of the games remains the 2020 Summer Olympics. It was the 27th edition of the men's Olympic football tournament. The 2020–21 Greek Football Cup was the 79th edition of the Greek Football Cup. It took place with the participation of the 14 clubs from the Super League 1, as there was no competitive action in the lower divisions ( Super League 2, Football League and Gamma Ethniki) until early January due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020–21 Super League Greece was the 85th season of the Super League Greece, the top Greek professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1959. Olympiacos were the defending champions. Teams Fourteen teams competed in the league – the top twelve teams from the previous season, the play-off winner and one team promoted from the Super League 2. The 2019–20 Super League Greece was the 84th season of the Super League, the top Greek professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1959. The season marks the first year that the league that included a Play-off Round, whereby the top six teams at the conclusion of the regular season played each other exclusively to determine the league champion. The rest of the teams played each other in a Play-out Round to determine the relegation positions.
