Doug Miller (Texas Politician)
Doug Miller (born July 14, 1954) is an American politician. He served as a Republican member for the 73rd district of the Texas House of Representatives. Miller was born in New Braunfels, Texas. He attended Texas State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in law enforcement in 1976. He served as the mayor of New Braunfels. In 2009, Miller was elected for the 73rd district of the Texas House of Representatives, succeeding Nathan Macias. In 2007 he was succeeded by Kyle Biedermann. New Braunfels ( ) is a city in Comal County, Texas, Comal and Guadalupe County, Texas, Guadalupe counties in the U.S. state of Texas. It is the county seat of Comal County. The city covers and had a population of 90,403 as of the 2020 United States census, 2020 Census. A suburb just north of San Antonio, and part of the Greater San Antonio metropolitan area, it was the third-fastest-growing city in the United States from 2010 to 2020.
