Doug Graham (Canadian Politician)
Doug Graham is a Canadian politician, who was elected to in the Yukon Legislative Assembly in the 2011 election. He represented the electoral district of Porter Creek North as a member of the Yukon Party caucus until his defeat in the 2016 election. He previously represented the district of Whitehorse Porter Creek West from 1978 to 1982. Before becoming a territorial legislator a second time, Graham was elected in 2009 as a city councillor in Whitehorse Whitehorse () is the capital of Yukon, and the largest city in Northern Canada. Whitehorse () is the capital of Yukon, and the largest city in Northern Canada. It was incorporated in 1950 and is located at kilometre 1426 (Historic Mile 918) on the Alaska Highway in southern Yukon. Clive Tanner (January 7, 1934 – September 9, 2022) was a Canadian politician. He served in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1991 to 1996, as a British Columbia Liberal Party member for the constituency of Saanich North and the Islands. Ranj Pillai (born January 1974) is a Canadian politician, who has been the tenth premier of Yukon since January 14, 2023, and leader of the Yukon Liberal Party since January 9, 2023. He represents the electoral district of Porter Creek South in the Legislative Assembly of Yukon, to which he was first elected in the 2016 election. The Yukon Liberal Party () is a political party in the territory of Yukon, Canada. The party is not organizationally linked to the federal Liberal Party of Canada in any official manner. History After twenty years as a minor party, the Yukon Liberal Party won the 2000 general election and formed a government under Premier Pat Duncan. The government, however, was reduced to minority government status. Duncan called a snap election for November 2002 in the hope of regaining her government's majority. Whitehorse Centre is an electoral district which returns a member (known as an MLA) to the Legislative Assembly of the Yukon in Canada. It was created in 1992 from an amalgamation of the ridings of Whitehorse North Centre and Whitehorse South Centre and readjusted in 2002 following the dissolution of the neighbouring riding of Riverside. The riding encompasses the downtown core of the City of Whitehorse (including Marwell) between the escarpment and the Yukon River.
