Doug Chinnery
Doug Chinnery was born in London, England, in 1964 and after he spent part of his childhood in Western Australia he grew up in Essex. He was originally known for his landscape photography, much of which made use of long exposures and intentional camera movement. His landscape images began to appear in the photography press in the UK starting in 2008 with ''Photography Monthly''. Further articles and features appeared in ''Practical Photography'' and cover images for ''Digital SLR'' and ''Outdoor Photography''. He started writing regularly for ''Amateur Photographer'' and Outdoor Photography magazine during 2011. This included articles on pinhole photography and seaside photography. He is occasional guest writer for the Great British Landscapes website where he has appeared as 'Featured Photographer'. Royal National Theatre
The National Theatre (NT), officially the Royal National Theatre and sometimes referred to in international contexts as the National Theatre of Great Britain, is a performing arts venue and associated theatre company located in London, England, adjacent to (but not part of) the Southbank Centre. Chris Friel (photographer)
Chris Friel (born 1959) is a British photographer noted for his abstract landscape images. Photography Friel was a painter for many years before turning to photography in 2006, since when he has not painted. This change in medium coincided with his leaving London to live on a beach in Whitstable, Kent. He has talked about the importance of the Kent countryside and coast to his work. His early photographic work was shot in black and white. The reason he has given for this is that he is partially colour blind and "did not feel confident enough to shoot landscapes with the correct colour balance". However, since 2009 most of his prolific output has been in colour. The London Sinfonietta is an English contemporary chamber music, chamber orchestra founded in 1968 and based in London. The ensemble has headquarters at Kings Place and is Resident Orchestra at the Southbank Centre. Since its inaugural concert in 1968—giving the world premiere of Sir John Tavener’s ''The Whale (Tavener), The Whale''—the London Sinfonietta's commitment to making new music has seen it commission over 300 works, and premiere many hundreds more. Charlie Waite
Charlie Waite (born 18 February 1949) is an English landscape photography, landscape photographer noted for his "painterly" approach in using light and shade. Born in England, he worked in theatre and television for the first ten years of his professional life before moving to photography. He is noted for his square format images using a 6x6 Hasselblad. Waite is the recipient of a number of awards including a Honorary Fellowship to the British Institute of Professional Photography as well as Best Landscape Photography's 'Power of Visionary Award' and is frequently invited all over the world to give lectures on landscape photography. A pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens but with a tiny aperture (the so-called ''Pinhole (optics), pinhole'')—effectively a light-proof box with a small hole in one side.
