Doug Bland
Doug Bland is an American entrepreneur and former athlete. Career After a brief time as a collegiate athlete, Doug Bland moved to Southern California, where he lived in Newport Beach. He began his business career in event marketing with Ritz Entertainment, producers of music festivals and sporting events. In 1996 Bland became marketing manager of the Roger Penske-owned California Speedway in Fontana, California. He stayed in that position until he was promoted to marketing director for the Penske/ISC-owned Homestead–Miami Speedway in 1998. Penske Motorsports was sold to International Speedway Corporation in 2000. Bland then formed Short Track Entertainment, Inc, a motorsports marketing company that promoted racing events and represented racing properties and race teams. Bland purchased the UDTRA United Dirt Track Racing Association in 2002 and re-branded the property into the Xtreme Dirt Series. California Speedway
Auto Club Speedway (known as California Speedway before and after the 2008–2023 corporate sponsorship by the Automobile Club of Southern California) was a , D-shaped oval superspeedway in unincorporated San Bernardino County, California, near Fontana. It hosted National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) racing annually from 1997 until 2023. It was also previously used for open wheel racing events. The racetrack was located east of Los Angeles and was near the former locations of Ontario Motor Speedway and Riverside International Raceway. The track was last owned and operated by NASCAR. The speedway was served by the nearby Interstates 10 and 15 as well as a Metrolink station located behind the backstretch. Homestead–Miami Speedway (formerly known as the Homestead Motorsports Complex from 1995 to 1998) is a oval-shaped Oval track racing#Intermediate, intermediate speedway in Homestead, Florida. Motor Racing Network (MRN) is an American radio network that syndicates broadcasts of auto racing events, particularly NASCAR. MRN was founded in 1970 by NASCAR founder Bill France, Sr. and broadcaster Ken Squier, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of NASCAR. Its first broadcast was the 1970 Daytona 500. Yuku was an upgraded version of ezboard, Inc.'s internet forums. Yuku described itself as "Message Boards 2.0". This tagline was most likely derived from the Web 2.0 features of Yuku message boards, such as tags and RSS. Yuku ceased to exist as a separate entity in 2017, following an acquisition by Tapatalk and subsequent migration to the Tapatalk platform. Kenneth William Schrader (born May 29, 1955) is an American professional racing driver. He currently races on local dirt and asphalt tracks around the country while also competing part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 11 Ford Motor Company, Ford for Fast Track Racing. The Mesquite Convention Center and Arena is a multi venue complex consisting of a 7,000-seat multi-purpose arena and a 50,000 square foot convention center in Mesquite, Texas, United States. It is home to the Mesquite Championship Rodeo and the Texas Outlaws indoor soccer team of the Major Arena Soccer League. The arena has been holding events since 1985.
