Double Happiness (TV Series)
Double Happiness () is a Singaporean drama series on MediaCorp Channel 8 which was broadcast in March 2004 and ended in January 2005. It stars Ivy Lee, Xie Shaoguang, Edmund Chen, Vivian Lai and Zhang Wei as the casts of this series. It consists two parts, with 70 episodes in this part of the show. It is about a family who operates a Fish And Chips restaurant known as ''Happy Fish'' located at East Coast Road. The restaurant has its ups and downs, but eventually it will come out strong, but not without tragedies and lessons learnt. Plot The main female character in the show is Yaxi, who has to struggle with the Luo family for the control of Happy Fish, a Fish and Chips Restaurant. Yaxi, who is married to the Luos' second son Jiaqi, is a career woman who had hardly frequents a kitchen and is asked to look after Happy Fish by her dying mother-in-law. Ivy Lee (actress)
Ivy Lee (born 16 July 1973) is a Singaporean former actress and host, who was a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1993 to 2007. She has won three Star Awards for Best Actress for her performances in the television series '' Angel's Dream'' (2000), '' Double Happiness'' (2004) and '' Family Matters'' (2006). Early life and career Lee graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Biomedical in 1993. The same year, she joined TCS (predecessor of MediaCorp) after winning the biannual Star Search and clinching the "Miss Photogenic" title at the same contest. Yao Wenlong
Yao Wenlong (born 14 November 1970) is a Malaysian actor and businessman who lives in Johor Bahru and works in Singapore and Malaysia. Chen Tianwen
Chen Tianwen (born 28 May 1963) is a Singaporean actor. Career Chen was educated at the now-defunct Serangoon Garden Secondary Technical School. Alan Tern Yoke Cher (born 31 March 1976) is a Singaporean actor and businessman. He was a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 2001 to 2011. Huang Yiliang (born Ng Aik Leong; 4 July 1961) is a Singaporean businessman and former actor and director.
